What Happens When You Click "Start Using Berri"
When you first launch Berri and click the "Start Using Berri" button:
1. Permission Requests
Berri will ask for necessary system permissions (explained in detail later)
2. Onboarding Customization
You'll customize which features and websites appear in your PowerStrip (see [Onboarding Flow](/guide/getting-started/onboarding))
3. Initial Setup
The app configures itself based on your choices
4. PowerStrip Mode
Berri automatically switches to its compact "Pill" mode for unobtrusive access
Your First Berri Experience
- Always Visible: Berri stays on top of all other applications
- Quick Access: Use global keyboard shortcuts to interact without clicking
- Smart Positioning: The app positions itself intelligently based on your screen setup
- Instant Availability: Access your productivity tools without switching applications
Default Configuration (If You Skip Customization)
If you click through onboarding without making changes:
- Settings - Always included (required)
- YouTube - Pre-selected for quick access
- No other modules selected - You'll add these in Settings later
This minimal setup lets you start quickly and customize as you explore Berri.
